Our take
4.5/5California Academy of Sciences has an especially convincing format for children ages 4 to 12 who enjoy a themed museum birthday. Aquarium Odyssey, Canopy Quest, Ferocious Fossils and Cosmic Crafts give families a choice of focus. Each includes selected activities, museum admission and a host, with two hours in a private party room.
Gifts and children's favors are already included, which trims the preparation list. The base package covers 16 guests, so additions can raise the total quickly. Outside cake is allowed, but other outside food is not. Full payment at booking and the cancellation terms deserve attention before choosing a date.
