Our take
3.5/5Children's Discovery Museum of San Jose works well for member families who want museum access alongside a two-hour party room reservation. Both packages include 20 admission tickets. Deluxe Roofus adds a 30-minute character appearance and 10 museum rubber duckies, giving families a specific upgrade if that character matters to the birthday child.
The member-only requirement comes first when deciding whether this is an option. Budget beyond the $670 or $820 package price: an 18% service fee applies, additional guests cost $22 each, and another hour costs $100. A nonrefundable 50% payment makes a settled date and guest plan valuable.
