Our take
3.5/5Stead Park Recreation Center is a good candidate for a playground birthday when parents also want to request a multipurpose room. The spray park adds another activity to consider, though a water play plan should start with a check on availability. The combination gives the birthday more scope than playground play alone.
A DPR permit is required for the organized gathering, with the room requested through the online system. Confirm the spaces covered before promising children a particular party schedule. Permit costs depend on the event and reservation type, so the room arrangements need to be part of the initial budget conversation.
