Our take
3/5Lincoln Capper makes sense for a child whose birthday plan centers on swimming. The children's pool gives the gathering a clear activity, and the parking lot and Green Line access are useful when guests arrive separately. Treat this as a public swimming outing: party guests share the water with everyone else.
The 2026 pool season is closed, so this belongs on a future season shortlist. DPR does not rent pools privately, and parents need to work through the permit timetable. Check the next season's dates before asking guests to keep a day free.
