Our take
3/5Oxon Run Pool's documented format suits a family considering an outdoor swimming birthday, with a playground also at the site. The swimming is shared with the general public, so this works best for a group comfortable celebrating within a public pool setting. Private pool use is not part of the arrangement.
The pool is closed for the 2026 season, which rules out a swimming party there during that season. For a future outing, check availability before making plans, then allow time for DPR's permit application. The outdoor pool and playground give the outing a straightforward activity focus when swimming is available.
