Our take
3.5/5Canoeing or kayaking gives a birthday group that enjoys paddling a shared activity to build the day around. At this Mayo outfitter, the full-day rentals include a shuttle, paddles, and life jackets, which brings several practical parts of a river outing into one arrangement.
Choose the rental length to match the celebration: hourly rentals have a two-hour minimum, and daily rentals are also available. A full day is a substantial commitment for a birthday group. Before inviting guests, discuss the route and each child's paddling experience with the operator, then arrange adult participation and the rest of the celebration accordingly.
