Our take
3.5/5A private airboat tour with Lake Placid Charter Co. gives a wildlife-loving birthday child a clear focus for a family outing. Private tours for families and groups make this a promising choice when the boat trip itself is the birthday treat and wildlife viewing is the main interest.
Guests meet at Windy Point Boat Ramp, so use that meeting point when coordinating arrivals. Call or text to arrange the private tour and discuss your group before inviting everyone. Plan any separate celebration around the excursion; the experience to build on here is the airboat trip.
