Our take
3.5/5Lamar Public Library has a useful connection to family activities through Story Hour, Summer Reading, and special programs for families. For a birthday child who enjoys that setting, a library visit can give the celebration a shared focus. Choose a program because it interests the child, and check its date before making plans.
The library also has a route for meeting room inquiries: call for reservation guidelines. Discuss birthday use and food rules directly. Monday through Thursday hours extend to 6 p.m.; Friday and Saturday closing is 5 p.m., and the library is closed Sunday.
