Our take
2.5/5A birthday outing to La Junta's Rodeo Grounds makes most sense for a child already interested in rodeo or livestock events. Those activities give a family a reason to consider the grounds, with the appeal depending on which event matches the birthday child's interests.
Start by contacting the grounds about the event calendar and arrangements for children attending as a group. Ask about seating and where accompanying adults would stay with the children. Plan any separate celebration around the event's timing, and establish whether food or cake can be part of the visit.
