Our take
3/5Soaking in mineral hot springs gives Joyful Journey a specific birthday appeal for a child who would enjoy that activity. This is a choice to make around the birthday child's preferences and the interests of the guests. A group that enjoys soaking together has a clear reason to choose the Moffat setting.
Keep the celebration centered on that shared activity when deciding whom to invite and how to structure the outing. Contact the venue about your intended group before setting the schedule, and discuss any plans for gathering or eating afterward. That will help you decide whether soaking should be the main event or one part of the day.
