Our take
3.5/5An evening swim gives this La Junta pool a clear birthday role for children who enjoy being in the water. Private party time runs from 6:30 to 8:50 p.m. on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, so families have a specific evening window to plan around.
The pool opens daily from June through mid-August, making this a summer choice. Match the outing to the group's swimming abilities, and discuss adult supervision when arranging the party. Ask how cake and any time out of the water would fit into the reservation.
