Our take
4/5Millpond Recreation Area in Bishop gives an outdoor birthday several ways to take shape. Play equipment, fields and courts provide options for a group with different interests, while the reservable gazebo with tables and a BBQ gives the gathering a practical center. That combination is useful for parents planning their own activities and meal.
The swimming pond adds another possibility, but decide whether swimming belongs in your party plan before inviting guests. Arrange adult supervision to match the activities you choose. Contact the county about the gazebo reservation and its use rules before building the celebration around that space.
