Our take
3/5Lassen County Fairgrounds in Susanville hosts private parties, making it a reasonable rental inquiry for parents with their own birthday plan. The recurring children's fair also gives the site a connection to children's events, although it does not establish what a private gathering includes. Ask about your proposed occasion directly.
Discuss the specific space and your intended activities with the fairgrounds before making arrangements. A successful birthday here would depend on matching that space to the celebration you want to organize. Ask what is permitted and what the rental covers before booking entertainment or setting the guest list.
