Our take
4/5Cheaha State Park's Party in the Park is a good match for a birthday child interested in animals or outdoor activities. Cheaha interpretive staff lead the offering, which can take the form of a live animal program, themed party or outdoor activity. That staff involvement gives the celebration a focus parents can choose around their child's interests.
The calendar is the main practical constraint: the offering runs from May through November, between noon and 4 p.m. CDT. For birthdays within that window, the choice of formats is appealing. Discuss which program suits the group before building the rest of the celebration around it.
