Our take
4/5An exclusive program with the park's interpretive staff gives this birthday option a clear focus for children interested in animals or the outdoors. Families can choose a live animal program, themed party or outdoor activity, so the celebration can follow the birthday child's interests. Having that program presented by park staff is a useful strength when planning a nature birthday.
The main constraint is timing: parties run from May through November, with availability between noon and 4 p.m. Central Time. Email the park to arrange the program and confirm the price before planning the rest of the celebration.
