Our take
3.5/5Group Campground Area 5 at Hollister Hills has useful infrastructure for families planning a birthday around a group camping gathering. Picnic tables and shade ramadas give guests places to gather, while a large BBQ and food preparation area support a shared meal. Restrooms and showers are practical advantages for this format.
The site also has fire rings, a stage, electricity, and parking. Reservations are available for groups and special events, so start by discussing your proposed celebration with the park. Treat this as a campground reservation with activities you arrange; the listed inclusions do not establish a hosted children's program.
