Our take
3/5El Dorado County Fair and Event Center is an option for parents organizing a private gathering in Placerville. The fairgrounds rents space for private functions as well as public events, so the birthday would take shape around the family's own plans. It suits parents who enjoy deciding how a celebration will run.
The rental agreement deserves attention before invitations go out. Discuss your intended activities and food arrangements when making an inquiry, and establish which space the agreement covers. For this format, the practical fit of the rental matters more than the fairgrounds name.
