Our take
4/5Henningsen Lotus Park has plenty to work with for an outdoor birthday: a playground for free play, sports fields for a game, and BBQs for the meal. The 51-acre riverfront setting also has a beach and boat launch. Families can build the celebration around the activities that suit their own group.
A pavilion, shade structures, and rentable event structures give the gathering possible meeting points. Ask which structure you can reserve and what that reservation includes. With the river beside the park, decide in advance whether your plans involve the water and arrange adult supervision accordingly.
