Our take
3/5Vaughan-Smitherman Museum is worth considering for a birthday built around a family gathering. Its facility rental costs $250, with a separate refundable $250 security deposit. The rental examples include brunches, showers, and receptions, which makes a seated celebration a sensible starting point when discussing plans with the venue.
For a children's birthday, I would choose this when parents want to organize the occasion themselves. Ask which spaces the rental covers and whether your planned children's activities fit the room. Budget for the deposit as well as the rental charge.
