Our take
3.5/5Gateway Park's strongest birthday feature is Gateway Lodge, which the city identifies as a rental for large groups. For a celebration with an extended guest list, a lodge gives the planning a useful starting point: choose the gathering space, then build the children's activities around the occasion.
This is a venue-led option for families who want to organize the celebration themselves. Use Montgomery's reservation process to discuss the lodge and the intended event before making plans around it. The large-group format is particularly relevant when the birthday includes a broader family gathering.
