Our take
3/5Dallas County Public Fishing Lake suits a birthday child who wants fishing to be the main event. The Sardis location is a reasonable starting point for an outing with guests who share that interest. Consider whether the children will enjoy spending their celebration fishing before building the whole invitation around it.
Call the lake to discuss your date and group. Ask about access requirements and equipment arrangements, and decide how adults will support children during the outing. Plan any meal or cake separately after checking what is permitted. The birthday plan should leave enough time for the fishing itself.
