Our take
3/5Cathedral Square puts a possible birthday gathering at 300 Conti Street in Mobile. As a public-space option, it calls for a family to decide how the celebration would work there. Start with the child's preferred activity and the practical needs of the group, then use those details when asking about the space.
The city's facilities contact is the place to discuss your proposed gathering before sending invitations. Ask about permission for group use and any arrangements your plan would require. This option makes most sense for parents willing to shape the event themselves and settle those details in advance.
