Our take
3/5Houston Interactive Aquarium & Animal Preserve mixes an aquarium with a small zoo, and its parties lean on hands-on contact. Every package includes a guided tour with stingray feeding, the indoor aviary, a reptile encounter and a bird on the arm, plus a party host, a two-hour reserved space and all-day admission.
Prices are per child: $39.95 for Explorer, $59.95 for Wild Encounter with a premium animal encounter per child, $69.95 for a princess party and $89.95 for the VIP package with pizza and a private upstairs room. You pay for at least 10 children, the birthday child is free, and only two adults get in free, so a large family group adds cost.
