Our take
3.5/5The Rocky Brook Rocket gives a birthday at Opelika Municipal Park a specific activity to plan around. Private rides cost $100 for 30 minutes and require a reservation. A train outing is a good fit for a child whose interest in the ride can carry the celebration, with the short session leaving the rest of the occasion for parents to arrange.
Private reservations are available only on weekdays, which may decide whether this works for your guests. Pavilion or gazebo rentals can be arranged through the Recreation Center; discuss those separately when planning where the group will gather.
