Our take
4/5Oxbow Meadows has a well-defined birthday format for families interested in an environmental learning center celebration. The $300 base package pairs one party activity with a private party area reserved for three hours. A birthday shirt and guest souvenir photo add something to keep, while tables and chairs simplify the gathering.
The 36-person limit includes everyone, and parents supervise the children. Choose the activity carefully: recommendations vary, and Oxbow advises against children under five touching reptiles or amphibians. Budget for the $50 nonrefundable deposit and give at least 48 hours' notice for cancellations or date changes.
