Birthday score3.5/5
How we rateFelton Little Park in Auburn has a playground and picnic area, plus a batting cage and softball and baseball fields. For a birthday outing, consider which spaces your children would actually use before making plans. Ask parks staff about group use and whether any sports facilities need a separate reservation. If a picnic is the main plan, check the rules for bringing food and setting up decorations before sending invitations.

Our take
3.5/5Felton Little Park gives an active birthday group several useful ways to spend time together. The playground and picnic area suit a celebration built around play and a shared meal, while the batting cage and softball/baseball fields give baseball enthusiasts a reason to choose this particular park. Pick the main activity around the birthday child's interests.
For a mixed group, a loose plan with picnic time as the meeting point seems more comfortable than expecting every guest to join a ball game. If your plans depend on a field or the batting cage, check access arrangements before you send invitations.
