Our take
3/5Auburn University Garden of Memory is a setting to consider for a quiet birthday gathering on campus. Its character as a memorial garden should guide the celebration: a restrained visit with a group comfortable spending time together in that setting is the most sensible fit.
Start with the university's outdoor-space reservation contact to discuss the proposed gathering and whether it belongs here. Parents should choose the location because they want a garden visit, then shape the birthday plans around that purpose. A celebration centered on energetic group games calls for a different setting.
