Our take
3/5Fairlawn's nine-hole executive course gives a golf birthday a defined activity to plan around. The par-3 format is a useful detail for families comparing golf outings, though the right fit still depends on the children's interest and experience. It makes most sense to consider this Lincoln course for a group that wants golf to occupy the celebration.
Discuss the group with the course before setting a start time. Ask how children and accompanying adults should be organized, and where a birthday gathering could fit around play. Build the day's timing around those arrangements.
