Our take
3.5/5Riverside Park gives families a straightforward birthday setup: a pavilion available for parties beside a public playground. That pairing suits children who enjoy playground time and parents who want a place for the group to gather. The pavilion reservation provides a defined base for a celebration that parents organize themselves.
The playground stays public and cannot be reserved exclusively, so plan for other families to use it during the party. This arrangement works best when shared play space fits your expectations. Keep invitations clear about the meeting point and how adults will supervise children moving between the pavilion and playground.
