Our take
3/5Cosby Lake Park is a straightforward option for a birthday that parents organize around an outdoor gathering. A pavilion reservation gives the group a place to meet, and a separate private event rental option is also listed. That makes the choice of rental space the first useful decision when shaping the celebration.
Use the City of Clay rental application to ask for the arrangement that fits your group. Confirm the rental period, guest allowance and food plans before making other bookings. This format suits families comfortable arranging their own party details, with the pavilion as the gathering point and a weather backup considered in advance.
