Outdoor adventure
At Thompson Boat Center, children can celebrate with kayaking, paddling challenges and races. The birthday format is recommended for ages 8 to 16. Packages for eight start at $250 on weekdays or $300 on weekends, with 90 minutes of paddling and an hour of tables or space rental. Kayaks, life jackets and paddles are included. Request the party through the online form, and arrange the adults needed under the age based supervision rules.

Adults on the water
Children under 8 need one adult per child; ages 8 to 12 need one per five children, and ages 13 to 15 need one per eight. Adult participants are 16 or older, with at least one adult on the water over 18. A waiver is required.
