Our take
3.5/5For a winter birthday built around skating, Memorial Sports Center combines an hour on the ice with two hours of access to the second floor. That gives the gathering a base beyond the skating session, a useful arrangement for a group that wants active time and a chance to gather afterward.
The $150 package suits families bringing skates; the $200 option includes rentals. Helmets and gloves are recommended. Check the ice schedule before emailing the manager, and keep plans flexible: school or hockey games can lead to a cancellation or rescheduling. That scheduling condition deserves attention before invitations go out.
