Our take
3/5The daytime Ballroom rental suits parents who want a room for a birthday gathering and are willing to work through the arrangements with event sales. I would treat the room as the starting point for planning, with the children's activities decided alongside the booking.
Private kayak and canoe tours of Lake Blackshear give families another activity to ask about. Keep that inquiry separate from the room rental: check whether a tour suits the children in your group and how its timing would fit the celebration. Confirm the Ballroom's capacity and rental price before settling the guest list.
