Our take
3.5/5For a child drawn to farm animals, Buckner Family Homestead brings a clear birthday focus to your own celebration. The mobile petting zoo includes goats, rabbits, silkie chickens and ducks, with mini pigs when available. Optional hand feeding gives families another way to build the party around the animals.
Budget for the two-hour minimum: the $200 first hour and $100 second hour make the starting commitment $300. Hand feeding adds $25. This suits families who want animals to occupy a substantial part of the celebration; a brief animal appearance would be a less natural fit.
