Our take
3.5/5Families who want an outdoor birthday can use one of two covered picnic shelters and bring the gathering together with playground time. The recreation area also lists T-ball, ball fields, batting cages, tennis, football and a multipurpose court, giving active kids more to explore than a picnic table alone.
This is a flexible public-space option for parents happy to organize the party themselves. The county page names the shelters for birthday parties but gives no price, guest capacity, duration or food rules. Call the parks director to check availability and confirm what a reservation includes before inviting the group.
