Our take
3/5Get Outdoors Leadville!'s Community Gear Library is useful for a birthday built around a family-organized outdoor outing. It lends equipment for personal recreational use, which makes it relevant when borrowing gear is part of the plan. The birthday's appeal will come from the outing you choose and how well it suits the children invited.
Plan the borrowing around the library's limited weekly hours: Monday from 4 to 6 PM and Friday from 11 AM to 7 PM. Before building a celebration around particular equipment, ask about its availability and whether your intended use qualifies. Choose the destination and organize the children's time as part of your own party plan.
