Our take
3/5For a child who enjoys libraries, Baca Grande Library in Crestone is a possible stop during a small birthday outing. I would approach it as a library visit with a few friends, with the rest of the celebration arranged separately. That makes the child's interest in the setting the main reason to choose it.
The library opens Monday through Friday from 10 AM to 5 PM and Saturday from 10 AM to 2 PM. Saturday plans need an earlier start. Call ahead to discuss a group visit and whether your intended activities suit the library.
