Our take
3.5/5Ochoa Park's ramada reservation runs from 8 AM to 7 PM, which gives parents useful room to choose when their birthday gathering starts. That broad window is its clearest practical strength: a family can plan the celebration around its own schedule. It suits parents comfortable organizing a public park birthday.
The reservation covers a full day, so ask about the rate before deciding whether it makes sense for a shorter celebration. Book through Tucson Parks and Recreation, and confirm food and decoration rules while arranging the ramada. Plan the children's activities to suit your particular guest list.
