Our take
4/5Sequoyah Park has a useful balance of play space and picnic facilities for a birthday organized by the family. The pavilion seats up to 40 people, and the nearby fenced playground includes swings, a wheelchair swing and trapeze rings. That variety gives children several ways to spend time between food and celebrating.
Picnic tables, benches and a group grill support a simple meal, while accessible restrooms and a drinking fountain are practical advantages. This suits parents who want to build their own gathering around park play. Reserve the pavilion through the city's booking system and plan the food and party activities yourself.
