Our take
3/5A $45 shelter rental gives a birthday gathering at Spillway Falls Lower Pool Park a reserved base for the day. It works best for families whose celebration fits the park's quieter event rules: excessive noise, water slides, and water balloons are prohibited.
Plan the timing around sunset, when the shelters close. A shelter reservation also does not guarantee entry to the park, so discuss arrival arrangements before asking guests to travel. The rental is a useful starting point for a DIY party, provided your activity plans and arrival details fit those conditions.
