Our take
3.5/5Johnson Park in Andalusia has a clear appeal for children who would enjoy a birthday centered on sports. The 40-acre city park has 11 ball fields, a gymnasium and a skate park, giving families several possible directions for an active outing.
Choose the activity before building the celebration around it. A group hoping to use a field or the gym should ask leisure services about access and any reservation requirements. The park's size and variety are useful strengths, but a birthday itinerary still needs to match the facilities your group can actually use.
