Our take
3.5/5Donaldson Park's free splash pad gives a birthday outing in Opp a clear focus without an admission charge for that activity. It suits children who enjoy water play and families willing to organize their own gathering. Parents can build the occasion around splashing together and keep the rest of the plan simple.
Check splash-pad operating times before choosing a date. Pool parties belong to the separately named Veterans Memorial Pool across the street, so arrange those through the pool if swimming is central to the birthday. Keep the two locations distinct when directing guests.
