Our take
4/5Otto Lake Park suits a birthday built around outdoor play and a picnic in Healy. The playground and beach recreation area give the outing a focus, while picnic tables and BBQs make a shared meal a practical part of the plan. The covered pavilion is a useful gathering point for the group.
Parents who enjoy organizing their own celebration have several helpful amenities here. Before sending invitations, check pavilion access and any reservation rules. Plan adult supervision around the activities you choose, particularly if the group will spend time near the beach.
