Our take
3.5/5The Chilkat Center for the Arts gives families in Haines a choice of spaces for a birthday gathering. Its lobby is used for banquets and parties, while the rehearsal room is suitable for private parties. That choice is useful when deciding how much room your celebration needs.
The lobby accommodates 86 seated or 175 standing, but those figures should not determine a children's guest list on their own. Discuss your planned games and table arrangement before selecting a room. A family with its own activity plan has a practical starting point here.
