Our take
3.5/5The train-themed playground gives Big Oak Tree Park a clear birthday audience: children who enjoy pretend train adventures and playground time. The playground is intended for ages 2 to 5, making it a promising focus for a gathering of children in that range. The park's small scale also favors a modest celebration.
A picnic area and BBQ provide a practical way to combine play with a birthday meal. Parents can build the gathering around those simple ingredients, bringing their own celebration plan. Contact the county about group use before relying on a particular picnic spot for everyone.
