Our take
3.5/5Talley Day Park combines a playground with pavilion space and picnicking, a useful mix for a birthday that moves between play and gathering together. Walking and sports add options for children who want something else to do. It suits parents who prefer to set the pace themselves and organize the activities around their own group.
The pavilion gives the celebration a place to gather if you reserve it. Arrange the rental online or contact the Parks Permits Office. Treat that booking as a pavilion rental, and plan the food and birthday activities yourself.
