Our take
3.5/5Oaklands Swim Club gives member families two ways to plan a pool birthday: a children's party during pool hours or an after-hours private rental. That choice is useful when deciding how the gathering should fit around swimming. Children who want to swim at a children's pool party must take a swim evaluation.
Daytime party fees vary with guest count and hours. After-hours rentals start at $75 per hour plus lifeguard costs for eligible members, and need at least a week's notice. Work out the guest list and timing before comparing costs; the hourly starting price is only part of the rental expense.
