Our take
3/5Fort DuPont Parade Ground is an outdoor setting in Delaware City to consider for a birthday gathering you organize yourself. It makes the most sense for a family whose starting point is bringing people together outside and who wants to shape the occasion around the setting. Weather should be part of that decision from the beginning.
Before settling the guest list, contact the venue about your intended gathering and how you would use the grounds. Build the celebration around arrangements agreed directly with the venue, particularly if your plans depend on a particular date or layout.
