Our take
3.5/5For a family happy to organize an outdoor birthday, the playground and walking trails give this public park a useful mix of play and a gentler change of pace. Basketball and soccer add options for children who prefer a game. The appeal is choosing activities around your own group.
The permit process needs a place in your planning: county approval is required at least 14 days before the event. Ask about current permit and facility fees, and confirm which areas your permission covers. Treat this as a gathering in a public park, with the arrangements in parents' hands.
