Outdoor adventure
Forest Park Nature Center's birthday hike package gives a group of 20 a guided outing with a naturalist. The $100 package includes a 45-minute hike, another 45 minutes indoors or at a picnic area, a small prize for each child and $2 for the birthday child at the Trailhead Nature Store. Call the nature center to schedule; a $50 nonrefundable deposit is due when booking. The format combines time on the trails with a place to gather afterward, so ask which indoor or picnic option is available for your date.
